Author bio:

I live in Dallas but I am not a Texan by birth, I am a transplant from Tennessee and married a true Texan so I had to stay. We live in a older home in Dallas proper with our son and goldendoodle (who is roughly the size of a pony).

Writing isn’t my day job, however it is my joy and favorite hobby. I enjoy sending my friends new chapters nightly and hearing their reactions the next day. That is why I write, being published is just a bonus really. My real job is the same every day, but at night I get to be someone else and write about all these fun adventures and sexcapades:) When I’m writing you can find me on the couch, earbuds in and a full glass of wine beside me. Music inspires my stores, at the end of each book I list the playlist that helped me through writing the novel.

When I am not working or writing, I am reading. I go through about 3 books a week and I am 100% sure that I’m that annoying person at book-club that gets on to people when they are not keeping up with the monthly readings or suggest the movie is as good as a book (Sometimes I wish I could vote those people out of book-club like they do on Survivor. “The tribe has spoken”).

My favorite authors that inspire my writing are: Colleen Hoover, Sarah J. Maas, Sandra Brown, and Rainbow Rowell.

Release Blitz, Review & Giveaway: At Her Own Risk by Rachael Duncan!

Publication date: 14th August 2017
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 5 stars
Synopsis: Sex.

That’s all it was supposed to be. No strings attached, no feelings, no heartache.

But if I thought Sean Riley would be content having only parts of me, I was dead wrong. His persistence wore me down and I found myself in the one situation I was trying to avoid.

Little does he know a life with me will lead to nothing but disappointment and heartbreak. He’s a good man and deserves everything I can’t give him. Not because I don’t want to, but because I’m unable.

Pushing him away in the beginning was to protect me, now I’m trying to protect him as I gear up for the fight of my life.

A fight I could lose.

Getting into a relationship was my risk, but as things get worse, I’m not the only one who will have something to lose.

I just hope it’s worth it.

I've read the majority of this author's books and I loved the ones that I've read, so I do try and stay up-to-date with her new releases! I was really excited to sign up to review this book because it sounded amazing! And then I saw the cover and it definitely sealed the deal lol! After reading, I can say that this book gutted me! It started out very funny and focusing on the main characters relationship turning into something a bit more permanent! There were some seriously hot scenes between them too! The last half of the book then gutted me and had a huge impact on me! I mean, I haven't cried as much at a book in quite a while, so this did take me by surprise! I also didn't see the twist coming because I skimmed over the synopsis, so I think that's another reason that I got very emotional! I actually had to stop reading because I couldn't see through my tears! The plot was very beautiful though and very well written! It only took me a few sittings to read too! I also couldn't stop thinking about this book after I'd finished it, and that's how you know that it was a damn good book! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Paige was the main female character, and at the beginning of this book she was scared of being in a relationship and she was scared of commitment because she had been burned so many times in past relationships! As the book progressed, Paige went through a lot and my heart completely broke for her! She lost her confidence and she felt like nothing was going right and she was dealt blow after blow! Paige handled everything so well and I admired her so much! Sean was the main male character and love interest of Paige! I loved Sean so much in this book! He was absolutely perfect and he didn't do a single thing wrong! He was also there for Paige every step of the way in this book and he refused to let her go through what she did alone! Sean was also a very funny character and he always tried to brighten Paige's spirits and keep her as happy as she could be! Sean was very protective of Paige too and it was easy to see how much he loved her! I loved that this book was written from both Paige and Sean's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because this author's other books that I've read were written from dual point of view, so I'm really happy that this book was too! It helped me connect more with Paige and Sean and it allowed for more emotion and for more things to happen in the plot too! I can also completely understand why this book is a standalone! I'm really sad that it is, but the plot was wrapped up and the ending was perfect for the characters and made me so happy! I cried happy tears at it lol! I would love to read more on Paige and Sean too and I hope that make appearances in this author's next book! The cover for this book is also stunning! I love it a lot and it suits the book so well! The cover models are perfect too and I love how well the cover suits this author's other covers! Big thank you to Rachael and Enticing Journey Book Promotions for an ARC of At Her Own Risk!

Cover Reveal: Two Bit [Satan's Fury MC 07] by L. Wilder!

Where I was his weakness, he became my strength.

Two Bit:
I've never been one to hold back. I’ve always said what was on my mind-- right or wrong-- and earned my name because of it. Giving my two cents hasn’t always been a good thing, but on one fateful night, it led me to her. She was a once in a lifetime kind of girl. Undeniably beautiful. Fearless. Unforgettable.

She was like a wildfire, scorching my soul, and in an instant, she had the power to burn right through me. I wanted her, but getting mixed up with her nearly cost me my life.

I tried to fight it. I tried to save myself from the flame... but after one touch, I knew there was no turning back.

Zoe would be mine.

Sometimes, you’ve got to hit rock bottom before you can find a way to move forward. Well, it’s time for me to find a way to move forward, because I’ve sure as hell hit rock bottom.

My father, the president of the Chosen Knights, died and left me a legacy I didn't want. The club was supposed to be my family, but with my father gone, they’d gotten tangled up in things I wanted no part of. I wanted out, but I was stuck with no money and no place to go. I’d thought all hope was gone, until he walked into the bar. Like he’d stepped out of my dreams, he was everything I’d ever wanted. Handsome. Courageous. Passionate.

Being with him came at a price—a price I wasn’t sure either of us could pay.

When sparks fly and ignite a war, who will be left standing in the ashes?

Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.

Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.

Book Blitz & Giveaway: Vanquished by LeTeisha Newton!

If I should die before I wake,…

Then my soul is Caesar’s to take. He pulls up down, he lifts me up.

And then he leaves me in the muck.

If should fall before I fly…

Then they know it was the fault of mine. He taught me better, he led the way.

I just didn’t know how to stay.

And if I should not gain his heart…

Fuck that, he made me this way. Curled my thoughts and twisted me.

He belongs to me, forever.

WARNING: This book is DARK. So dark, I barely found my way writing it. Know this. Understand it. Believe it. It's one long warning from beginning to end, but the love found between the pages is everlasting. This is NOT a conventional couple, and they don't come together with rainbows and silver linings. There's pain. There's violence. There's blood. You have been warned. Please ... Please, walk away if a filthy dark story isn't right for you. You will find no softness here. But if you like it so dark the sun won't make you feel warm again, then you've found the right place, and Caesar is waiting.

Author bio:

Writing professionally since 2008, LeTeisha Newton’s love of romance novels began long before it should have. After spending years sneaking reads from her grandmother’s stash, she finally decided to pen her own tales. As many will do during their youth, she bounced from fantasy, urban literature, mainstream, interracial, paranormal, heterosexual, and LGBT works until she finally rested in contemporary romance.

LeTeisha is all about deep angst and angry heroes who take a bit more loving to smooth their rough edges. Love comes in many sizes, shapes, and colors, as well as with—or without—absolute beauty and fairy tale sweetness. She writes the darker tales because life is hard … but love is harder.

Book Blitz & Giveaway: The Woodlands Series Box Set by Lauren Nicolle Taylor!

Guest Post!
Writing Process
When I started writing The Woodlands there was no slip of a concept that it would be a book. I had the simple idea, what if you woke up pregnant and didn’t know how it had happened?
There was no plot outline, or even an idea that it would be a book. I wrote the whole story around the one scene where Rosa was surrounded by creepy doctors in a sterile, stale environment, that ended up being right in the middle. I wrote that scene first then the first chapter and then went back to writing from the middle of the book again. I wrote back and forth until I caught up to the middle and then wrote the last quarter.
I know it sounds very confusing and it was for a while but it gave me a good idea of where I wanted the story to go since I already had a pivotal scene to aim for.
I was a woman possessed, ignoring the three children tugging at my arms and then pulling my wheeled chair away from the computer, screaming ‘feed me!” I completed the first draft for The Woodlands in eight weeks. The bath overflowed several times, pasta was often over cooked and the kids watched way too much TV in that time but at the end of it I had this massive stack of paper. A book 320 pages long.
I handed it to my sister nervously and waited for her to read it, making her send me texts after she’d finished every chapter. She finished it, she loved it, and I thought, ‘ok, I’ve written a book. I guess I should get it published.’
I wish I had known more about the publishing industry before I tackled it. I knew it was a rough draft but I thought that’s what editors were for. I didn’t realize my manuscript needed to be polished and perfect before I sent it off. So of course, what followed were several rejections. But I was lucky, I wasn’t getting form rejections, I was getting the ones that said ‘your writing has potential you just need to work on dot, dot, dot…’
After devastation came the realization that personal rejections were unusual and that this was good sign. I took the criticisms I was offered and set about revising my manuscript, expanding my first chapter out over four, adding dialogue and fixing up plot points. Doing this word-by-word polish was tedious at times but gained me an intimate relationship with my characters and my writing. But I still start sentences with ‘but’ and I still forget where the commas go!

Do you dare enter the Woodlands?

As the last livable spot on Earth, it’s the only home Rosa and Joseph have ever known. But now they need to escape, or Rosa will be trapped forever in a horrific government program. A dystopian page-turner with over 750 five-star ratings on Goodreads. The Woodlands Series is perfect for fans of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth, and The Jewel Series by Amy Ewing. Readers can purchase this boxed set at a significant discount over the cost to purchase each novel individually. This is a complete series boxed set.

The Woodlands is an Award-Winning Finalist in the “Fiction: Young Adult” category of the USA Best Book Awards, as well as a Semifinalist in The Kindle Book Awards by the Kindle Book Review.

“Lauren Taylor’s writing is powerfully descriptive; she is a master of words and similes.” – Author Erica Kiefer

“It seems so rare these days to find a dystopian with an original vein in it. The Woodlands Succeeds.” -Author Pauline Creeden

“I went into this story with my own ideas, but they were obliterated by what I found instead. I was so happy to be wrong because this story touched my heart deeply in a way that I never expected.” – Reviewer Amber Douglas Mcallister

“This book was fantastic! Spectacular! It had everything I look for in a book: Action, Adventure, and even romance!” – Reviewer Jocelyn Sanchez

Release Tour & Giveaway: Aim [Circle of Justice 03] by L.P. Dover!

Publication date: 7th August 2017
Paperback edition: -
Source: Kindle
Rating: 5 stars
When someone asks what I do for a living, I answer it plain and simple . . . I’m a hunter. I hunt the dregs of society and I’m very damn good at it.

I’m Ian Chandler, FBI agent and a member of the Circle of Justice, an organization of justice seeking vigilantes. My mission is to solve a string of ‘accidental’ hiking deaths occurring around my Wyoming town. When Grace Myers –a woman who’s been missing for days –shows up on my land, it turns out she’s the key to it all. Someone is hunting her, and I make it my duty to keep her safe.

However, the deeper I get into the case, the more dangerous it becomes; especially, now that I’ve fallen for the woman I have to protect. If hunting is the game, I won’t fail. I always hit my mark.

I loved the other books in this series, so I was really looking forward to this book! This author is also one of my favourite romantic/suspense authors, so I always look forward to a new book from her, which is why I was very excited when I received my ARC of this book! I also didn't even read the synopsis before I started reading this book, so I did go in blind! I'm so happy I did this though because I was drawn in right from the first chapter and I couldn't put it down until I had finished reading it! This book only took me a few sittings to read too! The plot also developed at the perfect pace and it had plenty of action, suspense and romance in it to keep me desperate to read on! The suspense aspect was also in this book right from the first few chapters, which I loved! I also loved the romance between the two main characters! It wasn't instant and it took a while for things to start happening! There were plenty of seriously hot scenes between them too! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Grace was the main female character and I loved her in this book! She went through a lot in this book too! Grace was placed in a dangerous situation at the beginning of the book and then in danger for the rest of the book! My heart did go out to Grace because she was in danger for no reason and it wasn't her fault! Grace handled everything the best she could though and I really admired this about her! She was also very easy for me to connect with and I didn't lose that connection all the way through this book! Ian was the main male character and love interest of Grace! I loved Ian a lot in this book! He had a tough looking exterior that made people judge him, but he was such a sweetheart and very loving! He showed this side of him all the way through this book, especially with Grace! Ian was also very protective of Grace, which was completely understandable considering the situation she was in! Ian also had a very dangerous job, but I could understand why he was he in the job he was in! He was doing good in the world, even if his job wasn't the most honest! I loved that this book was written from both Grace and Ian's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because the other books were written from dual point of view, so I'm really happy that this book was too! It helped me connect more with both characters and it allowed for more things to happen in the plot, especially with the suspense aspect! I also can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it's going to focus on new characters, but the main male character made small appearances in this book, so I can't wait to read his story! It releases this year too, so I'm happy that I don't have to wait a year for it lol and I'll definitely be reading it as soon as it releases! The cover for this book is also seriously hot and I love it a lot! The model on the front is the perfect Ian too and the cover would definitely draw me to pick the book up! Big thank you to L.P. Dover for an ARC of Aim and to Enticing Journey Book Promotions for having me on the Release Tour!

Release Day Blitz: I Do(n't) by Leddy Harper!

I fell in love with Holden York when I was six years old.
Most of my youth came with spiral notebooks filled with doodles, wedding plans, and “Janelle York” looped in bubbly handwriting.
However, one night in Vegas changed everything.
I woke up to more than just a fantasy of my brother’s best friend.
Five years later, I'm standing on his doorstep confronting him about the secret he kept from me.
If you think this is the story of how we rode off into the sunset together… You’re so wrong.
But if you think this is the story of how Holden blackmailed me into living with him... You couldn't be more right.

Author bio:

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.
She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.
She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.
The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.
